WMTA State Keyboard Competition allows the Regional winner at each grade level (7th – 12th) to compete, determining one Wisconsin winner in each division/grade level.
We are the Northwest region. Our Regional winners compete against the South and Northeast region of Wisconsin. Students in grades 7 – 12 who participate in the WMTA Regional Track and win can move on to WMTA State Keyboard Competition.
Students will perform in front of an audience and the judges. The audience is open to the general public with an admission fee for adults ($10), for non-performing students ($5), and for under 5 (free).
There is an additional cost of $40.00 to register for the WMTA State Keyboard Competition and students perform the same pieces they did for District. There is no theory test.
